Licensing generator/validator program [closed]

I need to write a program that generates/validates license for users of my application.
The application has a number of features each of which can be purchased by the user. Also each feature can be enabled in trial mode. Meaning only for a specified duration of time.
Before I actually try to write the code myself, I'm wondering if there are any free/commercial programs similar to what I'm looking for.
